UK pension contributions: which regions are saving well below the UK average?

Savvy planning for the later stages of your life, can really pay off and reduce future financial worries. True Potential Investor has released some research about personal pension contributions across UK regions during Q4 2016.

Their findings, mapped out in the infographic below, show that pension contributions vary across the UK and that people are saving an average of £325 per month. Some areas stand out as saving below the UK average, with contributions between £1 and £300: West Midlands (24%), Yorkshire & Humberside (23%) and East Midlands (28%).
